100 Day Juice Fast

by Jacque
(Mars, PA, USA)

I am currently doing (today is day 12) a 100 day juice fast. I'm not sure if I can make it, but I am going to give it my best shot.

I have 3 young kids and have found that making food for them is testing me beyond what I can take!

Is there anyone who has been here that can offer some advice?

part 3 potassium soup recipe NEW
by: Anonymous

I find that when tempted to break the fast and sick of cold juices, that taking n the hot broth and spooning it in slowly helps the craving to eat pass and help get me through to my goal as it seems more like solid food than juices.

I hope this tip helps you or maybe try some hot herbal tea for those times.

Here is that recipe for the pottassium borth allowed on the program that cured the termoinal ill and incurables

Schulte said "Potassium Broth Recipe
This is a great-tasting addition to your cleansing program. It will flush your system of toxins, poisons and unwanted salts and acids while giving you a concentrated amount of vitamins and minerals.

Fill a large pot with 25% potato peelings, 25% carrot peelings and whole chopped beets, 25% chopped onions including 50 cloves of garlic , 25% celery and dark greens. Add hot peppers to taste. Add enough distilled water to cover vegetables and simmer on very low temperature for 1-2 hours.

Strain, or just dip your mug in, and drink only the broth. Put the vegetables in your compost. Make enough for two days, refrigerating the leftover broth. It is important to use Organic vegetables. We do not want to consume any toxic insecticides, pesticides or inorganic chemical fertilizers while we are on a cleansing and detoxification program. " nimum to keep it mostly raw or limit how much to take a day or week.

part two of my last post NEW

part two

Hard to make decisions as children (grown) are upset I will not do all my doctor might recommend. (have not seen the oncologists yet to hear what they had to say just the radiologist who did the biopsy and other tests. I don't want to make a mistake.

I will also be doing r Richard Schulze's incurable ave your life program (found on Amazon/eBay under biser save your life videos. It contains 700 page manual which is harder to find but excellent videos more on him and his program /formulas at curezone, herbdoc and herbdocblog His program also contains a formula almost like the hoxsey formula (video the quack who cured cancer or also called when healing becomes a crime Google the fist title go to videos and it is in 2nd row first one when helaing becomes a crime wonderful video) and essiac tea used by rene caisse)

Anyhow I am hoping to find support as the few relatives I told think I am crazy not to do all the doctor says as if I did I have good chance of recovery (85%) but will this all be too much to take emotionally and a mistake. I want to live.

Event though they could give me no clue how fast it is growing (it is highest grade of undifferentiated (8/9) which is fast, I tried to estimate it and believe i is doubling somewhere between every 5 months (best case if it started right when I did the old mammograms 30 months ago or at 2 1/2 months worst case as it seemed unchanged in size in the 3 weeks since I fond it so I divided the doubling starting at 1 mm to the size they say it is now. One more doubling will put me in the next stage where survival drops to 50% provided it does not spread to lymph nodes --primary ultrasounds do not show lymph involvement nor does pathology report but she said it may still be there which would make it sate 4 (12% survival) so it is very scary.

As fare as your question when I did th fast I followed what Dr Schulze said to drink only fresh veggie and fruit juice, herb teas and potassium broth I will post his recipe for it in the next post. I also make broths from leftover pulp straining it and cooking. Last night the leftover veggie pulp as beets, beet greens, carrots, celery, garlic, dill and cuke. I also made a seaweed one adding carrots celery and a few thing along with brown rice vinegar.

In the past I ate once in a great while the broth of hot and sour soup when I was out and hungry or once in a while a veggie broth from health food store i took with me and filled with hot water
used for tea at gas stations although I do not feel that broth may be healthy for this time around as more pressing I make no errors and focus mainly on fresh juice. I will I guess when out use potable citrus juicers and keep citrus of all types along with good water and natural sweetener in the car while away from home and use gas station ice as I was told once at speedway they use filtered wate for the ice or maybe carry a health food store bouillon cube or soup base.

what might help and my story NEW
by: Anonymous

I have done a 3 day and 50 day juice fast. I am on day 5 of a new fast I was doing to help diabetes and was just diagnosed yesterday with an aggressive breast cancer so instead of my planned 75 day juice fast, I am now thinking of trying 100 days or even longer. I think Dave the raw food trucker (youtube or curezone I would go to curezone to see his videos I posted (under name knowledge seeker) did a 125 day juice fast..maybe longer and had fantastic results./combining green smoothies, juice feasting/fasting and a 100% raw food, vegan, whole food diet, he was able to get rid of his diabetes in 4 days, his colon cancer, his kidney disease and lose about 225 pounds. He was dying and I met him recently and he was looking fit and wonderful,

I am also planning to do the master cleanse (lemonade diet during 2 weeks of my 75 to 100 day juice fast. It will break it as I normally do with either steamed carrots, a small salad or raw applesauce.

Then the next day I plan to do the grape cure found in a book written in the 20s. I reread it and thought it is very excellent.

After that go to a vegan, ghole food diet that is high raw 100% would be ideal but not sure I can do that high but maybe shooting for at least 80% The highest I ever di was 505 raw. The vegan was easy the raw quite difficult I thought but now I have to try it as I do not want to die as I do not feel I can do chemo or maybe even mastectomy and not sure they will just do lumpectomy as they want you to do their whole program or see someone else.

Very good Advice
by: Anonymous

Thank you! Your advice is right on. I am totally concentrating on the future and not the here and now.

I will start to work on it today.

Also, I found that thinking just on the steps to complete dinner for the kids has also helped a lot.

Thanks again!

Go For It !

I think your goal of 100 days of juice fasting is doable. It sounds to me, however, that you are already programming yourself to break the fast because you think it is just unsurmountable.

I certainly understand it. The number 100 can be quite intimidating. Whether you decide to continue or not, I want to strongly recommend to you to focus strictly on the present and not on the 100 or whatever days you have remaining.

When fasting, the mind has a tendency to start obsessing with TIME. When are we going to eat? Is it time to eat? How much longer? These are all questions you will find your mind asking over and over.

If you allow yourself to start focusing on the future, the hunger pains will become stronger and your chances of reaching the goal will diminish.

What helps me a lot is to focus on the absolute present. This moment, this pencil, this piece of paper ... whatever.

Focus explicitly on what you are doing and become a meticulous observer of what is happening around you RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW.

I found that when I was able to do this consistently, the hunger pains diminished and I was no longer so obsessed with "how much longer?" questions.

You may need to return to the present over, and over and over - because the mind will always want to go back to the future. "Oh, my gosh! There is such a looooooong time to go!"

Come back to the present. Drink some seltzer water to settle your stomach. Squeeze a little lime in it.

I suggest you go to the "Fasting Journal" on the tab to the left and follow the day-by-day entries from my 30 day water and fruit fast. It talks more about what we are discussing here.

That section is not totally completed but you will get a lot from what is already there. YOU CAN DO IT!

Thanks For The Support!
by: Anonymous

I have done 2 fasts prior to this one of three and four days.

My goal of 100 days is lofty, I know. I don't think I'm going to make it that long, but if I can prove to myself that I can do a long (20+ days), I feel it will give me the strength to do it again.

I don't know if that makes sense. Also, I have a lot of weight to lose. I'm at Day 16 today.

My husband was doing the fast with me, but he broke his fast tonight. So hopefully, I will be able to stick to it awhile longer.

Thanks for the support. It is nice to hear from someone whose been there done that!

Focus & Meditation
by: Anonymous

Hello Jacque:

This is a very difficult spot you are in, but you can make it through.

I was in a similar position when I was fasting at a retreat in the mountains while at the same time being in charge of the kitchen and cooking meals.

What helped me the most was to shut down my emotions and thoughts and simply focus on the manual aspect of what I was doing, WITHOUT allowing my mind to focus on the food itself and how much I wanted to eat it.

Basically, it was about having a blank focus on my mind - settling into a type of "meditation" that transformed me from one reacting to everything going on around me, to a person simply "observing."

So I am standing there preparing chicken or pasta, or whatever, and I just focus on what I am doing rather than becoming emotionally involved with what I am doing.

This actually is a good thing because it will force you to practice intense self-discipline.

But once you get over it, you will realize that, in the future, when the wrong types of food start to beckon, you DO have what it takes to say no and keep yourself on the right path.

The toughest part of your situation is by far the "smell" of food while you are cooking.

Well, I am not going to tell you to put a clothes pin in your nose.

Focus, focus, focus on the "blank" mindset and state of "meditation" as your key to overcoming the aroma.

Fasting is tough my friend, but you are on your way. And if you stumble, remember to keep trying.

Best Regards,

Keep Going!
by: Liz, England

Hi, just read your post in reference to your fast. You have done so well to get so far, I have only gone 5 days before now.

You don't say if this is your first fast: Why 100 days? That is a lot of pressure to put yourself under and subsequent guilt if you break your fast and eat prior to the golden 100-day target.

I am about to commence a 10 day fast as I feel my body still has a lot of cleaning to do. One other thing... are you filtering the pulp from your juices?

I have read that if you are taking the pulp as well, then you are keeping you digestive system going (including the hunger).

Maybe using a metal sieve may help and getting someone else to make the kids tea if it's possible! Good luck to you !
