2 weeks of Intermittent Fasting, 10 lbs down...

First off, I am 23 years old and two weeks ago I weighed 317 lbs, 11 lbs heavier than my heaviest recorded weight. I'm so embarrassed to admit that my life-long weight problem is this out of control. I am getting married this year and I desperately don't want to be a 300 lb bride.

What I do is attempt three or four 24-hour fasts per week. Some have been 24 hours, others have been 18, 22, or 16. I don't count ending fasts early as a failure, I just move on and wait until the next time I've conveniently scheduled a fast. When I'm not fasting, I eat what I feel like eating. I've had pizza and everything I usually eat. Intermittent fasting has really been non-invasive for me. I find that I am more alert during the workday when I'm fasting. I'm also sleeping better and my anxiety has decreased.

Working out to me consists of video game fitness. I really like the hula hoop, yoga, and boxing on Wii Fit Plus. I am still working on my water intake. Sorry this post was so long, but if anyone is intermittent fasting or interested in this lifestyle, join me!
