21 Day Juice Fast

Hello! I'm a 22 year old woman. I'm 5'2" and currently at 150lbs. I'm doing a juice fast in order to boost a healthier lifestyle and to boost my weight loss.

When I graduated from high school, I weighed a steady 125lbs. I was extremely physically active, playing tennis, soccer, flag football, and strength training. But just after I graduated, I met my now husband and he spoiled me by taking me out to eat constantly.

This, as well as cutting out most physical activity due to starting college, made me gain 5 pounds. I looked a little pudgy, and I tried to lose weight, but I was weak willed and never lost it.

After my husband and I got married (Summer of 2009), I became pregnant and ended up gaining 65 pounds! I was doing everything I could to keep my weight gain low, but nothing would help. So in the end, I weighed 195! I was so shocked, and so disappointed with myself.

One year after my son was born, I weighed a stubborn 157. I would lose a couple pounds, and in a week gain it all back. So I decided to make a drastic change.

Now, 3 days into my fast, I'm down to 150:) I hope to get as close to 125lbs as I can. After the 21 day fast, I will continue a vegan diet (plus fish) until I reach 125. Then, I'll watch what I eat, do periodic juice fasts, and dedicate a few days a week to a vegetarian/vegan diet.

Aw I hope it goes well for you. what kind of fast is it? I plan to start an 450 calorie a day orange juice fast this Monday for 21 days. i'm and 150 pounds 5'5. i want to get back to 115 eventually. i felt best at that weight.
