I got started on Juicefeasting.com which gives you directions on how to fast for 92 days straight on juicing. I am on day 17.
Isn't it funny that our doctors have no information regarding nutrition? I know many doctors and they only get 7 hours of nutrition education and then they can also take an "optional" course.
Nutritionally uncooked spinach is 49% protein (and all leafy greens contain between 30-60% protein) so if you are juicing greens then you are getting plenty of protein.
Plus according to the recommended amount of protein we should take in is 2.5% (I learned this in my nutrition course I'm currently taking).
Just juice a big bunch of spinach and greens along with carrots and apples and berries and you will have all the nutrition you need.
Plus add in your good fats/oils (hemp seed oil, flax seed oil which both have all the omega's you need for good brain function) and you'll be set.

I agree. With a few additions, juice fasting could be a life long journey. I personally also think that raw organic eggs are good for you and I've enjoyed putting the yolk in my juice.
Just make sure you're doing it for the right reasons... through only juicing I'd think you'd be giving up a lot socially.
Maybe too much?

I heard of a person who juice fasted 3 years to protest the Vietnam War. I also did 3 fasts adding up to 100 days within 120 days.
At that time, the thought arose that I could live solely on juicing.
I believe that if you add some essential oils,B-complex, and some Spirulina which is 50 percent protein, you could maintain superior health.
The is also a lot of lies about gurus living only on air that is a scam.
