Colonics & Food Addictions - Your Thoughts Please
Hi I am a married mother of 4, 230lb (obese) and tired of the food addiction that I fight with every day. I started my fast on Dec 2 2008 and I am doing a water fast.
I work at the YMCA in Florida and am really excited to lose some pounds and regain myself. I plan on fasting until Christmas day, then eating a small amount of the "feast", but then going right back on the fast for an additional 4 to 5 months.
My metabolism has always been super slow, my doctor had me tested and the metabolism test came back with my age at 71!! This was upsetting since I at the time was only 31, I am now 34 yr. I have my first appointment for a colonic on Tuesday (a bit nervous), but looking forward to feeling less tired and rundown...
Has anyone else done colonic? My doctor said that the colonic would improve my feeling tired, and help with headache... My husband and children are being very supportive, although they did just make me bake fresh chocolate cookies, but strange enough I feel repulsed by them...
Maybe my "inner me" is starting to take over. Thanks for reading, and have a really great day.
