Day 1 of Water Fasting - Aiming For Seven Days or More

Hi

So today is nearly the end of the beginning!
Day 1.

Fasting is not hard really for me any more.
I think after the first 2 major fasts I did, my body was quite clean and because I changed the way I used food, stayed clean.

However, despite having a typically very healthy lifestyle, eating and exercise-wise...I'm also still young and a little wild!!

So sometimes I think it's time to tame the toxins a little.

Like now. The last couple of weekends, I feel I have been drinking too much and not being so careful with my body. It's also the turn of the season..into summer..yay!!

I always feel that the change in season is a good time to fast.

So after reading more information on this site, Ive realized that perhaps 7 days isn't going to be enough. Ive done up to 10 days before but when I was in a very relaxed retreat situation.

I wander if I can do it again now, even though I have to work with small(very loud and energetic) children every day and hope to continue with my usual activities (boxing, martial arts and swimming).

Well, I'm going to give it a go. I remember from last time, I got more energy after a few days had passed..the hardest energy wise were days 3-5

I think I'm going to use Oolong tea. Because I'm so active, I'm hoping this will help me a little bit in this respect!

Well, I'm going to keep blogging as I go through this journey.
