Day 10 of Water Fast - 22 Pounds Lost

Hi all,
I really think it is important to ensure your head is in the right place before starting your fast; I have attempted a fast about 6 times in the past and have lasted between 2-5 days each time.
About 2 weeks before this fast I started doing meditations, visualizations and affirmations and I found it made a big difference.
It is not the best time of year to be embarking on a fast especially as we have people around for Christmas, but as I have three weeks off work I decided it was a golden opportunity.
Days 1-7 passed by pretty well, then on day 8 I got a really nasty dose of the flu and became very ill. I spent two days in bed crying in pain, it was the the first time in my life I was ill and didn't dose up on medication.
Unfortunately when you heal from an illness you are generally hungry, so once again I am working through hunger pains and cravings so I feel like I am back to square 1. I am stronger and more focused so I am not too concerned.
The initial few days I didn't have very strong detox symptoms, but now I have intense headaches, I am not sure if they are an aftermath of the flu, or detox.
I have lost 10.2kg's (about 24 pounds)in 10 days. I haven't been exercising and have decided to try a bit of walking.
