Day 4 of 7.....

Well, this fast has definitely been a different experience from my first 7 day fast. This fast has been much more difficult for me, leaving me feeling weak, tired, and a little bit moody.
I am having a cup of organic decaffeinated milk thistle tea right now (also a detoxifier) because it is pretty cold where I am right now and fasting in and of itself lowers the body's core temperature....needless to say, I am freezing right now. SO, I will have a few cups of tea here and there when I want some comforting warmth.
Also, I am awaiting a nut milk bag to be delivered to me so I can break with a 5 day (or until Dec 20) juice fast. I will water fast until it arrives; it's delivery is scheduled for Tuesday, but if it arrives sooner, I will begin my juice fast then. One reason is I have already dropped about 8 pounds and don't want to get too far below 125. Right now I am right about 128...I normally hover around 130-133, depending on the time of month, give or take.
I am still waiting for the extreme mental clarity...but I assume that my body is processing all the yuck that is in it, working towards clarity. I just have to be patient. I know it will come. It just seems that last time it happened so much faster; however, I know that I shouldn't compare experiences, as each experience will have its own elements and components and overall feeling and outcome.
One thing that I found intriguing was that my "lady time" was postponed; I guess that may explain some of the sluggishness and moodiness that I have been feeling. What is bad though, is that I have been experiencing PMS symptoms for almost 2 weeks now....yuck! Hopefully, this will help me out in that area too.
I know there are plenty of essential oils that help with those symptoms; I am trying to learn to blend but have no space or supplies at the current moment outside of the oils themselves in order to make blends.....something I am working on. It will be one of my New Year's Resolutions for hobbies. :)
This morning, I decided to get my body moving. I went to the gym around 0810 and left around 1010. Legs, arms, shoulders, chest, back, abs, and a bit of cardio was on the menu for today, albeit in appetizer servings. I usually train several times a week both running and heavy lifting. I have been out of the gym now for about a week and a half, today was my first day back, and I could tell. I think that the fast definitely attributed to my loss of strength, but, I guess it happens. Tomorrow is a new day and today is here now. All I can do is what I can do, listening to my body will steer me in the right direction.
Peace and God Bless.
