Fasting to Lose Weight & Go On a Cruise - Input Wanted

by Nellie Caron
(Lake Elsnore CA)

I am going to start fasting come Monday the 21st as I will going on a cruise on the 30th. While I am in good shape now, I have been very anxious with cruise preparations and have started to eat in excess.

Even though I still go to the gym, I come home and eat a lot. This was not a problem for me before because I would go to the gym and burn off the calories with a vigorous workout. I still go to the gym, but cannot exercise with the same intensity.

I recently sustained a knee injury, so my 1000-calorie burning is kind of painful to do. So, the only other choice I see to lose weight fast is to fast for 10 days.

I just want to be thin enough to wear a formal gown and to give myself some weight-gain room during the cruise. Everyone gains weight in cruises, right? :-)

At any rate, can someone with fasting experience be kind and respond with their input? I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much and good luck to everyone...
