It depends what your goal is, if it's for weight loss or for detox.

If weight loss, I'd recommend glucomannan.

If detox, I'd recommend a laxative.

But I clearly wouldn't do both at the same time. Quite honestly, depending on what you juice, you wouldn't need either of these. Drink 2 or 3 cups of carrots and I guarantee you you wouldn't need any laxative, the body will take care of its own (if you know what I mean), just make sure to keep some good reading material in the restrooms, as you'd need that guaranteed.

Hello. Thank you for your questions. I have tried a very large variety of powders and laxatives while fasting.

There are many good ones, but you also run the risk of becoming more constipated from bulk fiber or getting severe stomach pangs from the wrong laxative.

I would suggest you go with Herbs & Prunes. It is VERY thorough in cleansing but quite gentle - although you can expect sustained movements

Towards the bottom of the page you will find an Herbs & Prunes link that will take you to a wide selection you can browse and read up more on.

Those, in my opinion, are the best bet for you - not powders or other laxatives... Hope this helps.
