Finding The Me Within - Fasting for The First Time - Support/Motivation Wanted

I am 30yrs old, I weigh 181.2 this morning, and I am tired of feeling like I am wearing someone elses body.

I used to weigh 130lbs. and always stayed close to that. I now realize that I did truly eat differently then. Mainly, I consumed drastically smaller portions, ate frequently and exercised in ways that I really enjoyed.

I got into a terribly abusive relationship that lasted a decade and after the birth of my daughter- I found myself severely overweight and miserable.

Two years ago, I got out of the relationship and managed to get down to 165 through some similar ways of eating as my youth. But, again after the birth of my son- I am heavy, weighed down by the body I wear and discouraged.

I have a new wonderful family and a long life ahead of me. I want to wear the true me again.

So, today I am starting my first fast. I must admit that I am nervous. I am torn between whether I should be doing a liquid diet of water, tea and broth. OR if I should just go with only water.

I have been implementing periodic fasting 1-2 days/week for a couple weeks and my pescatarian diet previously kept me in line with mainly veggies and fish.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
