Hi! While I think it is great that you are so advantageous this first time around, most of my (extensive) research has shown that people should start out with shorter fasts then build up to longer ones; I have read time and time again that the first fast should be around 4 days, and if you experience a "healing crisis" then you should continue as your body needs the down time to continue to repair. Not trying to rain on your parade, but just concerned for your well being.

Another thing....you should really listen to your body. If you are seriously having strong cravings then you may need to break. There is no shame in breaking at this point, besides you will juice fast for another 6-10 days anyway. Remember, this is your body's first time. Go gentle on it. Don't expect your body to carry you through if you don't read the cues it is trying to give you. Don't push harder than you need to...you can always go for a 21 day fast in a few months, then a 30....then a 40. 40 days the first time around is extremely intense.

You are doing great! Keep going. I just started on November 29th and today is day 8 for me and I am already down 16 pounds. I am trying to catch up with you. Don't stop. Let me know how it is going for you.
