Hi,
I agree , i've been doing small fasts sometimes from 6in the evening til breakfast then another time extending it til lunch etc. but am building slowly cos i think trying these long fasts out of the blue are difficult , its working for me i've been at it a month and lost 7lbs but my desire for overeater is reducing... i think it educates you better than totally stopping food....

I have been recommending to my clients that they do intermittant fasting for weight loss. That is where yo fast from dinner to dinner the next day. You are basically fasting for 19 to 20 hours a day. It takes some time getting used to, but after a week you get to where you're not hungry during the day. You do get a 4 or 5 hour eating period, but just don't go crazy and pig out during your eating time. You don't have to count calories and you don't have to worry about what you can eat. Just try to eat healthy food during your eating period.
also get in some exercise, best just before your eating period. Lots of info on intermittant fast on the net. Rev John
