Going to Start a Juice Fast - Several Questions

Well, after doing a lot of research on juice fasting I've decided that it is the route I wanna take in my path to lose weight.

My first step was already made - I bought myself a great looking juicer: The Breville BJE200XL Compact Juicer. It looks really good from all the reviews. I can't wait to get it.

I am perfectly healthy other than my weight problem, which is what I am going to solve with juice fasting. Now before I begin, I have a few questions:

1. How much should I first invest in all the fruits and vegetables I will be juicing?

2. I do have a great fruit market in my town that's dirt cheap, and it is where I will be buying from, but in case I am out of fruits and veggies and the market is closed, will grocery store bought fruits and veggies do just as good of a job?

3. When juice fasting to lose weight (which will be my primary reason for the fast), do I need to have more vegetables than fruits, more fruits than vegetables, or an equal amount of both?

4. Just what is the recommended daily amount of fruits and vegetables (as referenced by that food pyramid company) in cups (like in a measuring cup)?

5. From day one, should I combine a light exercise with my juice fasting to lose the weight even more? I was thinking about nordic walking.

6. Once I lose my weight with juice fasting, will it help improve my stamina and endurance?

7. I am going to do this for 30 days, maybe more. I know it is a lot for a first time faster but I'd really like to shed several pounds and I believe I can handle it. To break the fast, do I just need to place solid fruits and vegetables in slowly?

8. What side effects should I experience from a juice fast?
