I Also Need a Fasting Buddy to Begin Sunday July 12

Does anyone want to begin a water fast with me? It seems that when I'm interested in something, I can go hours without even thinking about food.

But, as soon as I decide to fast, I begin watching the clock and feel weak. I realize this has to be psychological. I need to lose about 40 pounds which would put me at 130 pounds which is what I weighed approximately three years ago.

Since then I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, but have been told that it is possible to lose weight if I work at it. Well, I have been exercising and lifting weights for the past month.

My weight is still the same, but my clothes do fit better. Still I am carrying too much weight. Sometimes my ankles and knees hurt so I really do need to become lighter. I would appreciate a buddy.

Even if it's only for a day to get me started. If you mess up and eat a piece of bread, it won't be the end of the world. Just log it and continue. My goal is to weigh myself in three days (Wednesday, July 15) in the evening.

At that time, I might have a small meal before resuming another three day fast. That's my current strategy. I hope you will do this with me. Just the idea of posting our results can make this sort of fun.

What will really make it fun will be if I start seeing some results.
