Malibu Queen - Long-Term Water Fast Update - Fasting & Detoxification ... Symptoms & Motivation

Hi Everybody,

I hope everyone is doing well in their quest for better health. Just giving an update on my progress. Today is my 21st day of water fasting. I never thought I would make it this far!

The nausea is diminished but still present if I don't drink my water. On this amazing journey I have come to appreciate my body and what a miracle it is performing.

Each morning of a completed day of fasting I wake up feeling a little bit lighter and healthier. For all of you out there wondering if it is worth the struggle: It is!

I have to remind myself constantly that I need to give my body time to work its healing and repair magic. Keeping that in mind helps me to handle the ongoing temptation to break the fast prematurely.

If you make it past the first two weeks, it gets easier. The detoxification process was the hardest. The body shedding toxins is not a pleasant experience.

My arm pits smell so bad that I compare them to toxic waste dumps! I have to bathe twice daily to offset the smell and still it is bad. Then of course there's the bad breath. I believe the bowels have expelled what was remaining of the toxins.

Initially the body will give off a lot of gas. When that happens you definitely don't want to be around anyone! : ) But I anticipate that this will subside in time.

Stay the course! You will be richly rewarded.
