My First Day of Fasting!

70lbs Lighter Now - Ready to Fast!
I lost 100 pounds about 1 1/2 years ago. I started out at 300. I've gained 30 back. I'm fortunate in the fact that I don't look as heavy as the scales show.
I had gallbladder surgery and have some digestive issues. I have fasted before but never with the guidance of this wonderful site. This is my first day.
I really had to gear myself up for it mentally and spiritually. I work on-line at home but still am extremely busy. I'm already beginning to feel sick with hunger pains and being lightheaded.
I have hypothyroid and a little low blood sugar. I have decided to do water only for the first 3 days.
Then I may add a little lemon, green tea, organic celtic sea salt, a couple of iodine drops a week (from the health food store for thyroid) to my water.
I'm still researching and trying to figure out the best avenue for me. I would hope to go 30 days with easing into juice, leading to fruits and vegetables, and than back to 5 small healthy meals a day spread out.
I just haven't figured out what angle to take on this yet. I will read suggestions below. I'm afraid that seltzer water might irritate my digestive problems.
Not sure, guess I could try.
