Spiritual Fasting - Anyone Wish to Join?

I would like to know if anyone out there would like to join me in a spiritual fast from Sunday 1/9/11---1/30/11 (21 days).
Reading and understanding scriptures is not the same as believing them.
I truly want to believe what Jesus said as he instructed " the past is gone and cannot be changed, the future is in god's hands, the present has enough evil of its own".
I will probably go as long as possible on water then to a Daniel fast if necessary.
I want to kick off 2011 the right way and have God's power in my life for all of 2011. He also said "when" you fast, not "if" you fast.
Someone said to me once " you struggle because you don't know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made".
I had to admit that that was true. It would be nice to have someone to share the nuts and bolts of fasting, and an electronic shoulder to cry on if necessary.
