Hello...

I have been fasting for 3 weeks now. I keep a fasting journal in the Fasting Forum II. I totally understand about snacking at work.

I had the same problem. But what I did was remove myself from the job at lunch time and sit in my car. I read a book or talk on the phone to keep myself occupied.

Fasting is a struggle, but once you get into it....you will love the benefits. I update my journal every monday after I weigh myself (I only weigh myself once a week, so I don't get discouraged.).

I wish you the best of luck and remember...if you are going to do a long fast...don't look at it that way. Just go day by day.

It will discourage you if you keep reminding yourself you have so much more time to go before your fast ends. That's what I do at least and it helps. Good Luck!!
