As we discussed in Volume VIII, learning and adopting what we callThe Amazing Health Life Formula (AHLF) can help to expedite body cleansing and healing. I talked about what I said was my secret: Apowerful system for remarkable health and vitality comprised of fasting, detoxification and various holistic disciplines.

This AHLF has become a crucial part of my daily life and has, in reality, saved me from chronic illness and even prematuredeath. I have made it a mission to share this message with everyone that I can, letting them know that no matter how heavy and toxic they may be, there is lots of hopeif they are willing to put in a little work and sacrifice. That is the message that I bringto you today and throughout Fitness Through Fasting.

Putting these principles to practice can work miracles! I have seen people suffering fromsevere obesity and toxicity come back to life ... their bodies and skin rejuvenated to thepoint where one could hardly recognize them anymore.

There is NOTHING more satisfying and rewarding than seeing a human being go from hopeless and obese to vibrant, energized andwith a renewed desire to be alive. I am a firm believer that you and I must retain personal responsibility and be wise in choosing what works in health andweight loss - discarding the rest. That is what I have been working on consistently for many years and aim to offer you here. Ok then.

Today, let us look at Part Two of this AHLF: Water Fasting and TWO simple and oneinexpensive (yet effective) holistic detox supplement. There are many more holistic methods that I will be sharing with you over the coming months, but this one is the one I will recommend the most. Especially if you are new to fasting anddetoxification, it is always best to start simple and build your way up. Let's first talk a little about water fasting.

To me, Water Fasting is - by far - one of the most powerful healing resources known to man. It is a hidden jewel that has been used for thousands of years. Like we will see in the nextcouple of newsletters, water fasting can impact the mind, body and spirit in amazing ways.

Some Water Fasting Benefits

In chronic cardiovascular disease and congestive heart failure, reduces triglycerides and increases "good cholesterol" levels. *Treatment of Type II diabetes, often reversing the condition - permanently.*An effective treatments for obesity, providing weight loss of one pound per day or more.

*Beneficial in epilepsy; reduces the length, number, and severity of seizures.*Effective for treating both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. *Counteracts psoriasis, eczema, varicose ulcers, depression, neurosis, intestinal parasites, allergies, hay fever, and insomnia - among others. Regularly-repeated 4-day periods of water fasting has been found to increase the life span in both normal and sick mice.

Water Fasting Health Benefits

Are you new to water fasting? Keep It Simple. Try this: Start with a partial fast. Skip ONE meal a day - say lunch - and drink a healthy amount of water instead. Work your way up to 24 full hours. Repeat the process once every two weeks for three months. After that, make it a goal to complete a minimum three-to-seven-day water fast annually. ANY effort you make for yourself RIGHT NOW is enough to get you on your way!

Drink seltzer water with a little lime to settle your stomach and appease the hunger pains. So, in short, water fasting is a crucial partof the AHLF that we are talking about. I encourage you to give it a shot. It may take some practice,but the health and weight loss benefits will MORE than make-up for the discomfort.

That schedule will certainly get you underway. You don't have to break any records or fast for 40 days to receive benefit. Anything at all that you can start doing right away will help. Build into it slowly. Make easy goals that you know you can reach. Half-day fasting (twelve hours) is a good beginning.
